How can I set specific category for the Slider + Grid. I don't see any option on the home page and Theme Options. I want to specify the category for this layout to prevent other categories from appearing there. Thanks!
you can't see the feature for the slider as there is not that optiondue to the nature of how the slider works posts need to be pushed singularly. What you are asking would be still possible but it would require some customizations, which unfortunately go beyond regular support. I'll consider that for a future release though, thanks for your feedback!
You can still select the Grid category though in Sliders > Grid Category
