we'd like to use a ranking of the best reviews inside our main content in single posts. Is there a way to make the "best reviews widget" from the sidebar work inside an article? Or, even better, a simple list with the top 5-10 reviews without the thumbnail images?
thanks for your reply. We initially set up the site without VC because we prefer to work in html. I installed the plugin to see if it works with your hint. But I wasn't even able to place a single element, something seems to be broken with VC. It there no way to do it without VC?
well there is not a native way to do this, it would require some custom coding. Probably the best way would be to convert the widget to a shortcode so that it can be called inside posts. But you would probably need a developer to handle that.
Another no-code-option would be to seek for third party plugins that would do the job, not as bloated as VC. By performing a quick search I found this one: Amr shortcode any widget - I didn't test it but it seems to be doing what you're looking for, I'd give it a shot (there might be alternatives also).

Hi there,
have you tried by including it through the Visual Composer? That might require some CSS adjustments but I think it would be the easiest way to go.

Hi,
the Amr shortcode widget works great, that's exactly what we needed. Thanks!
