I bought a design from you (snews basic). However, I'm having problems with demo data transfer. Is it basic design snews I've received? Can you help on the issue.
Yes you bought the correct template :), as there is only one SNEWS. Demos are just variations of what can be achieved with the theme. Also please note that the demo importer imports the Main Magazine variation, even though from that setup is very straight forward to modify it to look as the Basic variation.
As per your issue, 500 server error could mean lots of different things, usually as the name suggests, server related issues. Usually this could depend on two parameters of your php server settings, upload_max_filesize and max_execution_time, please check these with your hosting provider before troubleshooting this any further.
