I am trying to create a new post with a slider in the body using the code from your example to do so.

Is it possible to create a slider just using images that I have uploaded to my media gallery instead of using "post categories"?  I would like to use 4 screen shots of an app that I'm reviewing to show up in the slider.  

I don't have the option to use backend editor or visual composer in post.  I am able to do so on pages.
