Hi there, I mean the template file footer.php inside the theme folder. If you enter some code on the line I suggested it will appear before the footer wrap.
Not sure about nofollow links, not a theme feature at this time. I guess it would need some custom coding or there might be plugins for that.

in order to put some content in that position, I would enter it in footer.php, between lines 12-14

You mean in the footer of the theme or WP?
Then the text will appear in the footer and not the end of the block post (Home)?
