I seem to be getting a "ghost" duplicate post in my home page slider. I delete the original post and the "ghost" just moves to another post. It causes a blank slide in my home page slider that I can't get rid of it. The only time I ever saw this was when my image was to big but that isn't it.
That is most likely a database issue, some data might be corrupted. I suggest to \"un-feature\" all posts and try feature them again. If that doesn\'t work I would also try to duplicate each featured post on a new one, and try to feature them back. It\'s always a good idea to keep all plugins deactivated while troubleshooting.
