I received an e-mail stating that a new version of MightyMag was available. I downloaded it and substituted it by FTP in the theme directory of my site (really a pity that your theme cannot be updated from Wordpress as other themes). Anyway, when I clicked on THEME OPTIONS, I got the following message:

The following plugin needs to be updated to its latest version to ensure maximum compatibility with this theme: WPBakery Visual Composer.Begin updating plugin | Dismiss this notice

However, when I try to update the plugin, I got the message

An error occurred during the update of WPBakery Visual Composer: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer.

Not a critical issue, since I prefer to write HTML code than using visual builders, but I wonder if I may have problems in your theme if I do not update that plug-in. By the way, I thought that purchasing the theme was enough, but it looks like your theme is using pieces that have to be separately purchased. Is my understanding correct?

PS You should put some version number in a panel of Theme Options, so that I know that the theme was updated. It could be useful to see a version for your theme.

    Hi there,

As stated in the changelog you need to deactivate the plugin before proceeding with the update. No additional purchases are required.

Moreover you can update the theme through the Envato Wordpress Toolkit plugin if you prefer.

The theme version is visible in Appearance > Themes > by clicking on the theme thumbnail.
