I think, I know what's the problem with your sticky menu in responsive mode: It's not just on smartphones, but also in desktop mode if the window gets smaller. When you hover with the mouse on categories the main category opens automatically and the subcategory is shown. Because of this it is nearly impossible to use the sticky menu on smart phones. You should add the condition that people have to click on the main categories to open the subcategories. Sorry for my bad English, but this "bug", I hope its not a feature, should be removed. :)
