Hello, what is the procedure for localizing the website to Arabic? I heard it has something to do with a .po file?

    HI there,

Yes you need to use a free tool as PoEdit to translate the default.po language file (located in / languages folder) into your language. By making a quick google search you'll find lots of info. Here's a good tutorial I found:

    Hope this helps

Thanks. I already tried doing this but many of the values I want to localize are not inside of the .po file.

For example, if you look at the footer at the bottom, it reads:

A project of MBN Digital - a division of Middle East Broadcasting and the BBG

The only place I can find this string is in wp_options, record 774, inside a JSON string. If I change the string to Arabic the theme breaks. Can you please help?

  • Alain replied

Please ignore my last message. I found where to change the above in theme options. As for most other similar text, is everything in the po file? If not, can you please give me a list of other files I can look through?

  • Alain replied

    For example:
    Enter your email address

When clicking on newsletter. We'd like to change the above text to Arabic. Where can we change it?

    Hi there,

couldn't look at your website as it asks for a password.

The Enter your email address string is located in partials/part-collapsibles.php line 28
