Unfortunately I'm not really into ads can't suggest any specific plugin for that, sorry! As a personal advice I suggest to think about that carefully, placing an advert on that spot would not display on most user monitors as not everyone has a 24" monitor that would allow all that extra space on the sides (most doesn't).
