I also tried testing a way around this by using woocommerce shortcode on a single page with the colr i wanted but single products are still using default skin.
store colors will always get the global skin color, specific colors are meant for regular categories only at this time.
Thanks for the heads-up about woocommerce new template files, I will look into it for the next theme release. In general before upgrading plugins, it' better to check the compatbility in Themeforest item page to make sure it has been tested.
Is there a way to change store and single product page skins?
i tried changing store page color but it still uses the default color
