2. Adding a Load More button would require some personal customization unfortunately it's not a default option, but perhaps I misunderstood your request. Can you please link the ticket you're referring to? Thanks
3. Category colors can be set in Posts > Categories > *Your Category* > Category Color, the option works best when used with parent categories only.
