Hi Guys, just wondering if you could take a look at my site and tell me what i am doing wrong. all the post pages rank well on google... but i can't get the homepage to rank at all... i can't even find where to put in the meta details etc, perhaps, i am set up wrongly. I need for the homepage to be able to appear on search results. ta
as an example of what I mean the meta tag on the homepage remains as latin text.. i don't know how to change it, and weirdly for a website with over 5,000 views, and 25 x 1000 word articles, it doesn't rank number 1 on google for 'koffster' the twitter page does.
can you also please have a look at the home[page and tell me why the advertising panel on the top of the homepage appears and then dissapears as if it is being blocked by something. the advertising panels down the right hand side also do the same thing. can you please letme know how and why. ta
Looks like it's caused by the ad being in flash format, that conflicts with some theme code related to video embeds. I figured out how to fix it, please paste this code in the Custom CSS textarea (Advanced Tab), it should work:
About your SEO related question unfortunately I don't know honestly, it's not my field of expertise and it goes beyond regular support. I believe there are some online tools that might help you understand your site ranking, even though I guess you already knew that. Sorry I can't be much of a help here.
