I absolutely love the way the login / register tab on the side of the site works. However, I have had some people confused as they are looking for a menu link to register or login, not the little side image.
Is there a way to copy some sort of link code into either a menu text option or maybe a widget ad / image that performs the exact same way as the little side image does? Meaning I do not want a different page as I want the same drop down login / register area (because it is awesome and I want to keep it the same for every user).
unfortunately it's not that easy as the accordions are regulated by Javascript and it'd be necessary to create some custom code. Honestly I don't think it'd be possible to add the links to the main menu. You might could replace the icons with texts but that also would most likely require to customize some CSS to make them fit.
Darn. Hmmm ... any other suggestions? Do you see any issues with maybe just listing the BuddyPress or bbPress login pages in a menu button or side ad as a secondary "backup"? I love what you created, but don't want to possibly lose some (most tech savvy people will see it, but some might not).
I don't think there'll be any problem with that, in my opinion it's better to have more ways to do the get the same result than risk to lose some users.
