i would like to design a masthead for the very top of the page but cant' find the actual dimensions with or without the ad sense banner on the very top
the container width is 980px while the height of the header it's adjustable (depends on logo size). On the live demo the header is sized 980x60px (you can use some inspection tool as FireBug to check these things up).
