I saw that buddypress 2.1 is not supported yet, so I used 2.0.3, this gives me more options now, but it does give me a error on the members:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bbp_breadcrumb() in
/customers/5/5/b/tuanifur.com/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/mightymag/members/index.php
on line 25
Not sure why, I used a clean setup, only with the plugins that are for the theme, preinstalled and then buddypress, nothing more, nothing less.
Hopefully this is just a small bug :)
Thanks for reading.
Edit: also found out that the bbpress forum is not really working either, you can make a topic, but you then don't see the topic anymore, you can reply to it, but it doesn't show the reply either.
Hmz, I do now have problems with the activity stream that it resets itself all the time with showing no activity, could this be because of that fix?
when I go to the backend I do see all the activity going, but it's not showing in the stream itself on the front end.
EDIT: day number 2, the activity stream suddenly seems to work now, but, when someone gets new there, like a new member, the avatar goes incredible big then, any suggestions?
I just visited the actual page but couldn't verify the giant avatar. Maybe this is affecting only the generic BP avatar (?), I'll check up on that on my installs.
Speed related issues are definitely something to address to your hosting provider. The avatar thing instead I doubt it has anything to do with it, I'll check up on that and let you now, thanks for your feedback.
I think it depends from user not having a custom avatar set, but I can't verify it. Although you could try to fix the avatar size like this by pasting this in the Custom CSS textarea (Advanced Tab):
If you do have some BP plugin/extension sure you need to disable it before troubleshooting.
The spam problem is very annoying I know, unfortunately I'm not an expert about that as I don't run my own community site, I still can handle live demos manually (but they're not indexed as normal sites). There are many plugins and tutorials about that (even though it's hard to find a reliable solution, I know), but I would give it a try.
I think the problem could be fixed when you delete the wp-login and wp-admin from wordpress or atleast rename them with wordpress knowing they are still there, but that spam account would not be able to activate their account via there and only via the log me in with ajax.
Is there a way to do that with this template as well? making it only possible to register via that plugin that is already in the template?
Also, I did find the problem with the avatar getting big, it seems to be the plugin called UserPro, it works together with BBpress and BuddyPress, but it seems not to work great with the template, so gonna delete that for now and try a way to fix the registering on the website.
Last question though, is it possible to keep the user login that you need to press a button for first, to keep that open? all the time?, then members or new visitors could register there right away instead of searching for the register button?
Hi there, I just bought the mightymag theme and already stumbled upon a bug on my website.
Just installed Buddypress and it seems that it keeps loading on the loading screen, is this just something I need to activate first? or just a bug?
Thank you very much!

Update:
I've looked up some old tickets here and saw a temp solution for bbpress with a other plugin that does give me forums back by using his tip:
http://djwd.ticksy.com/ticket/289221/search/
and for buddypress, I saw that you only needed to add one line to the 2.1 version (
https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/t... ), that seems to be working too now :), so for now I'm good ^^
There only seem to be some small avatar problems, not sure if this is because of a plugin, but I will take a look at that and let you know :)

OK thank you, the big avater did go away, not sure why, but it happens when someone registered onto the website.
I did had the same problem with another theme back then, that I also bought, could it be the host maybe? ( would be weird though )
it seems that the host is kinda slow too, page loading costs around 3 or 5 seconds sometimes.
Thank you for looking and hopefully you know something later on :)

Hmz, well I need to fix that another way then, because using that code will make everything the same size, even the groups and small avatars :/
I will try to delete the plugin with the custom avatar, maybe this is causing it and hopefully it will be fixed then.
and yes, I deleted those users with the big avatars since it we're spam accounts.
any idea on that btw? because it's killing me all the time, many spam accounts and stuff...

Hi there,
The login widget uses the native wp registration/login form so I don't think this is possible.
About keeping collapsibles open by default, you'd need to customize the code a bit, please check this ticket out, it should help.
