that happens because before the font get loaded, the navigation stands in two lines, hence the lower space. I've entered a Custom CSS in your Theme Options to fix the height.
now to my next question (asked you this in the past)
i want my users to be able to embed a award (emage) onto there site from mine (helps with back linking) what would i need to do to make them have to embed a award and not copy it.
if you know how to do this can you provide me with a code?
I'm not sure about your question, I don't think there's any code I can provide about that. You might want to search for third party plugins and/or buddypress extensions, I think there is something out there that provide this funcionality already.
I'll consider this depending on user's request, being a stock template I can't add per-user features unfortunately. You might consider hiring a professional to help you with that and speed issues as those go beyond regular support.
From a theme prospective, please make sure you have the built-in minifiers enabled in Theme Options > Advanced and disable all plugins and re-enable them one by one to detect a possible cause of poor performance.
