On my site the sliders have stopped working and don't show up at all on my homepage but do take up space. Why is this? I can't seem to find a solution. This happens in both Chrome and Firefox for me. Here's apicture of it.
Not only that but the news ticker at the top of the site doesn't show anything at all. What is going on, the theme is suddenly dramatically broken for what reason?
from your description looks like there is something breaking the javascript. Please disable all plugins and re-enable them one by one to detect the issue. Please also make sure you're not running BuddyPress 2.1 as per homepage notice.
Okay, I'll try that and get back to you. I deactivated Buddypress and it usually says "error,Buddypress was deactivated" but for whatever reason BP always shows up as active.
I disabled buddypress altogether, the plugin and everything started to work normally again. I had to have my hosting company do it for me because i'd keep getting an error everytime I'd try to disable it myself and it would'nt go through.

And the tabbed news section streches on forever despite having a limitation already set.

Thanks.
I know this is annoying BP bug. Try by renaming the 'buddypress' folder in wp-content/plugins/

Hi Kevin Femmel, I am having your same problem. How did you manage to fix the main siders in the homepage?
I disabled buddypress altogether, the plugin and everything started to work normally again. I had to have my hosting company do it for me because i'd keep getting an error everytime I'd try to disable it myself and it would'nt go through.
