I just updated my site to WordPress 3.9.1 and I updated the Social Counter Plus plugin. When I did that, the little triangles on the tabs in the main menu disappeared and the social thing in the sidebar went a little weird too with the background now stretching past the end of the widget.
Sorry I forgot about that one. Actually I can see them fine in Chrome/Win, usually JS errors cause this kind of issue. Please disable plugins and re-enable them one by one to detect the conflict if this is still happening on your end.
