Text changed randomly, updating theme question

I don't know why but all the text in posts across my site changed the other day. I was fiddling with the link color settings andd didn't notice a change right away. I don't know if that has anything to do with it at all just thought it was worth mentioning. Now all the text in posts is a little too small. What can I do to make it a little bigger? thanks

Also, I have tried updating the theme to the latest version but my dashboard keeps saying it failed (the install) due to the theme already being installed, any work around for this? I'm using Pagely so I don't have FTP access without paying extra

    Hi there,

it's pretty much impossible that playing with color option could affect body content. Please make sure you didn't edit the Base Font Size in the Typography tab, I also suggest to test the site out on a different machine as your site looks ok to me.

About updating you necessarily need FTP to overwrite theme files, do not delete it and re-install it through WP dashboard or you will lose all your settings. Here's some more details about it.

So you're saying that I can't update the theme without FTP? In the past I've simply renamed themes, like the files, "theme-2" and installed them or something like that.

So to update it I'd have to pay my hosting company for FTP access?

    Hi there,

I might have been misunderstood. It's not that I say that, that is the way to overwrite files on a hosting server in general (honestly I didn't even know there were hostings that do not provide FTP access).

I didn't really understand your usual updating solution with folder renaming, although PowerMag is a regular theme like any other so if you know other solutions to update themes with your specific hosting provider they I can't see no reason why it shouldn't work with PowerMag too. Although it's normal that if you already have the theme installed you can't install it again, isnt'it?
