I have problems editing som Components on a page using your Visual Composer. I´ve tried several browsers and also textmode without any result.
When I click the Edit Icon I get a popup with nothing to click on except two texts "General" and Design Options" also the "Save", "Cancel" and "X" buttons.
This is a new problem, I havn´t seen Before.
I´ve also updated the template and Wordpress to eliminate any version issues.
How exactly is that done? When I tried to perform that action, it said I didnt have enough privileges. When I went back, the page was full of errors. If using the latest theme, how do you update the plugin that is bundled with it?
I have both the same problems with the errors in the page. and the question about the version of the Visual Composer. Another thing I discovered related to this is that the normal Tools in the editor is gone and the only one left is the shortcode and media Icons.
ack, that is not good. Usually it is an issue with wordpress or a plugin conflict.
Unfortunately, it is these types of serious issues that make users wary of upgrading wordpress or their themes, which results in websites being attacked.
Surely all the changed rolled out were fully tested. If they were, it makes me wonder why so many people seem to be experiencing issues with them.
Updating pre-packaged plugins has the same procedure as regular ones, when installing the latest theme version (1.7.2) you should see a notice for
WPBakery Visual Composer in your WP plugins page.
The correct Visual Composer version you should have installed - which is compatible with new WP 3.9 text editor and PowerMag 1.7.2) - is
4.1.1.1
@Patrik
If you're having issues with this please provide admin access and I'll take a peek.
@David
I think you guys are talking about different warnings/errors, as I believe the 'privileges' related errors are specific to your usage. Please stick to
this ticket about the subject to avoid confusion and help me to help :) . Thank you

Solved it. No error in your code. I made a Little more digging and found it.
It was a plugin (Custom Widget Area) causing the error i Visual Composer.
They have made an update and everything is working as it should now.
