Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0

This error appears at times either during a refresh or after adding plugins. Sometime it goes away after a refresh and there are times where it remains, like now. This is after adding the WP Photo Albums plugin.

Gotta say that this theme is fastly becoming a PITA. To date it doesn't "appear" to work with what I consider to be standard premium plugins. This includes WPMU Premium plugins:
    Subscribe to email
    Directory
    Classifieds

I've yet to enable their Chat plugin. Each time I add one of these plugins to my home page nothing loads on that page and all I get is a white box.

There are also errors which appear after adding a plugin which point to changes not able to be made to some of the theme files. I'm guessing this may be due to the fact that I haven't changed permissions to that folder. Not 100% about this tho.

What I need to know is if this theme is compatible with other plugins in addition to getting it to work with these plugins and addressing the issue mentioned above.

The theme throws the error above and is inaccessible after adding and using the WP Photo Albums plugin. Once I disable the plugin the site's accessible. Frustrating!!!

To troubleshoot I add define('WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '32M'); to my php.ini file and loose access to the dashboard. I bump it to 64M and the dashboard comes back, not the front-end. Bump it to 96M and then 128M and still no access to the front-end of the website which contains the same error.

Activated another template and the front-end appears with all of the plugins listed above working.

So to add to the list of plugins I "CAN"T" use with this theme:
    Classifieds
    Directory
    Events+
    Subscribe to Email
    TubePress Pro
    WordPress Chat
    WordPress Photo Albums

    hmmm...

Just noticed that if I add News, which is a Category, to the menu and then list other categories under it the contents of the page doesn't display. So:

    News

        Cat1

        Cat2

        Cat3

This also only occurs on the Home page which is built using VC. If I switch to Classic editor the same results are displayed. I can access the other pages.

I feel like I'm talking to myself.. is this mic on?>>?

    Hi there,

I kindly ask you to wait for a reply before updating the ticket and face one issue at a time, as it's getting kinda confusing to provide a helpful reply.

Even though it's definitely atypical that you're facing problems with all those plugins, support for third party plugins goes beyond regular support as stated on the support policy on the homepage. Not all themes can be compatible with all plugins out there unfortunately.

As a further note, the theme is designed to work when the front page is set to display "latest posts", setting the homepage as a page may lead to unwanted results.

About category menu sub-items, they are not automatically taken, you need also to add the desired sub-categories in the sub-menu manually in Appearance > Menus
