How what code do I need to make the font bigger on the widget on the right of the picture I have attached.
And how do I get the longer photo underneath from showing behind the shorter photo on the same widget.

You can set the base font size in Typography > Body font > Base Size and all sizes will change accordingly.
To selectively change some specific parts some CSS knowledge is required. Unfortunately personal customizations are not covered by regular support, which is meant for bug fixes, help on theme features and updates.
Ok could you tell me what carousel it is on the top right of your demo so I can try and work it out myself please as there seems to be more than one?
I only have your posts in the top 3 widgets on the homepage and as you can see from the picture I attached earlier in this thread none of the images are displaying properly. Please can you tell me how to get them to dislay like the demo please?
That is the Vertical carousel and it's not a widget but a theme feature. Then there is the carousel widget which scrolls horizontally. To set the images to the right sizes please run a plugin like Force Regenerte Thumbnails, it should fix all the issues related to images I see in the screenshot.
