As suggested, I edited the custom jQuery and CSS with the code you shared to change the color of the header logo according to the category, but to no avail.
Is there something you can help me with to make it work?

As explained in the FAQ, that's not a theme feature but a little trick I explained for intermediate users. Even trying to help, I can't see your logo image in your site so I can't really say what's wrong.
I would like to learn this trick also. It would be real cool for my site. Gotta figure out why the menus don´t change the underscore color according to cat --yes I did add description. thnx
