Hi there, you can disable the sidebar on a per post basis by ticking the option Full width Layout
In the post options. If you wanted do it globally though unfortunately it can't be done globally though theme options without some custom modifications.

I would like the sidebar to appear only on the home page: http://www.retrosummit.com/
But I want to hide it in the single post and categories, e.g. not to be seen on these:
http://www.retrosummit.com/2018/08/09/connect-the-atari-to-hdmi-tv/
http://www.retrosummit.com/category/commodore/
On those I just one the posts to take the full width.
How can this be done?
