During the process of populating the site, a lot of questions come up. Please excuse...
We just tried to create a group and see how it works. Request Membership button does not seem to be working, it sends you to a 404 page.
What could be the issue you think?

Could you provide some login info (even member only) and possibly the steps to follow to replicate the issue so I could test this out? Also, does this happen when using other themes as well?
Before I asked for help from you I had tried to deactivate all the plugins, one of which was Buddypress but I was unable to deactivate it. It was giving me an error.
The problem with Buddypress (not being able to click Request Membership), plus this conflict that causes the category things not to appear, plus inability to post photos etc. with Buddypress, just a kind recommendation to not to offer it to your customers as it has lots of bugs.
I deleted from the root folder Buddypress and everything seems to work fine. I will keep you posted if something happens.
If you happen to find a permenant solution for these things one day in the future and if you remember my username, please let me know!
