I see that my users need to sign up on Gravatar to have an avatar on my web-site. Is there a way to just let them upload an avatar directly on my web-page?
I would really appreciate your help. I really don't have any idea how to do so and really need that.

Unfortunately not as that's how native wordpress avatars work, PowerMag doesn't interfere with this functionality. You can only upload avatars when using BuddyPress that I know. There might be some third party plugin that allows you to do so perhaps (?).

I actually came back to delete to ticket. I thought you would say what a dumbass :)
There is an option for this on Buddypress settings page. It was just a matter of a tick!
