When viewing homepage/category/archive view: Is it possible to have the featured images linked to the post (i.e. as well as the title)? A hover over effect would be great too, such as greyscale/zoom..
Hi there, not at this time. I consider those hover effects quite old and heavy especially considering the growth of mobile, people seems to like them though, so I might rethink that and include it in the next update.

I did wonder if the hover effect would add unnecessary bloat. What about just having the image linked to post?
Yeah that's I meant. Anyway linked images will be added in next update, will also consider adding an optional hover effect.
