hi, its been a long week where i tried to build my home page similar to your demo… with succes of course… i can’t find a way to copy this home page with the theme options/widgets and functions…
im sure they are there but don’t know what to do… I don’t want to install the full demo because i afraid it’s going to hurt my old pages… right now i really need help with copying the home page of your demo. even an inside picture of your demo home page structure will help a lot.
for now i updated the old theme, but wait for your response

Sorry to hear that, but please you need to tell me what exactly you're having difficulties to achieve for me to help you out, as I checked the live link there looks to be another theme running.
please have a look at the documentation and the articles section, most of stuff you're asking is explained.
You don't have to set up a page for the homepage.
Basically you need to set the front page to display latest posts, then drag the widgets into the 3 sidebars (HomePage Big, Medium, Small), preferably the ones whose name starts with the HP prefix, and/or carousels.
Activate sliders and the vertical carousel in the Theme Options > Slider Tab, and feature some posts in them as described in the documentation.
About the menu items is explained here, you don't have to design anything yourself.
