thanks for your patience.
since Wordpress 4.3 favicons are integrated natively in WP, please try by removing it from Theme Options and setting it through the WP customizer.

Also favicons are heavily cached so make sure you cleared it all or possibly test it in incognito mode or other machines.

To me it works on FF, not on Chrome
Have you tried switching to another theme and see if it works?
